Lakeland Media is Darren, Louise, Fran, & Jack. We are a photographer / videographer team with a background of over 10 years working in the media industry as photographers and film makers, before switching to the (much more fun!) wedding industry in 2019. Since then we’ve shot over 500 weddings, been nominated for numerous awards, featured in OK magazine, Cumbria Life Magazine, and have been named as a top 20 UK photographer by Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine.

Our aim is to capture stunning images that tell the story of your day, with all the fun and emotion that goes with it.

Our photography style is natural with a vibrant cinematic edge and we are passionate about making a film that not only tells the story of your wedding, but is also something fun, emotional and enjoyable that you’ll want to watch again and again.

We’re fun, laid back and friendly on the day, and we won’t take you away from your guests for hours on end to set up intricate forced posed shots, we just capture all the amazing moments that happen naturally as part of a wedding day as well as the key portrait and group shots using your wedding location as the backdrop.

For those a little nervous about being filmed or photographed we will make you feel at ease and comfortable. We can organise people when we need to but we’re never bossy and we work with the flow of your day. Years of shooting weddings means we know how to get that balance just right!

The day is about you, we want you to enjoy it. We aren’t there to get in the way, or take you away from the fun. You have the time of your lives, whilst we capture it all for you to look back on.

We offer individual full day packages from £600.
